Inspired by the poem “Comment” by Dorothy Parker:

Oh, life is a glorious cycle of song,
A medley of extemporanea;
And love is a thing that can never go wrong;
And I am Marie of Roumania.

This is a digital assemblage making use of dozens of photographs that I collected through a painstaking image search process. I then, in an extemporaneous mood, assembled them into two separate collages that become one with a small separating pane in between. This is a continuation of my series of digital assemblages, the first being “Posterior” in 2008.
